The Davison Cardinals rolled into Ford Field this Saturday to take on the Brighton Bulldogs with the division 1 State Championship on the line. Previously, Davison had only made it as far as the State semifinals four times in the history of the school. Davison was ready to seize the opportunity. The team showed up right from the start with a commanding opening drive that put Brighton on its heels, leading to a 21-3 halftime lead in front of what appeared to be the whole city of Davison in the stands.
