After two years of anticipation, the Flint City Bucks began their title defense in earnest beating Toledo Villa FC 3-1 in front of a raucous crowd of supporters. The Bucks controlled the game from the opening kick and only surrendered a goal in the last minute of play when the outcome was already in hand.
