Sample tasty burgers made by local restaurants while enjoying a brew and live music. Then, vote on celebrity burger creations to name the best burger in Flint!

Flint’s own Brandon Carr of the Baltimore Ravens and his non-profit, Carr Cares Foundation, will be hosting this charity comedy show. Proceeds will benefit children of Flint. The show will feature DC Young Fly, Karlous Miller, and Chico Bean, comedians from MTV & Nick Cannon’s “Wild’N Out” sketch comedy series.

Arborist Erik Hutson of Safari Tree will compare and contrast the anatomy of trees and human beings, including how the vascular systems work, how they react to disease and treatments and nourishment requirements. From 6pm to 7pm. Admission includes the 7pm showing of Stars: The Powerhouses of the Universe.

The Ceremony will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly). Thousands of veterans, families, friends and the general public are expected to attend the ceremony honoring deceased veterans interred at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. There will be patriotic music, the VFW State Honor Guard will present the colors and perform a rifle salute during the ceremony. Taps will also be played.

Enjoy this hour long Folk Opera musical for young audiences who will be invited to sing and dance their way to outer-space. 7:30-8:30pm.

May the Fourth be with you will be the theme for the Grand Blanc Food Truck Festival. Visitors will enjoy the Flint Comic Relief along with a DJ and free kids activities. For the older kids, there will be a car show. Be sure to wear your Super Hero costume. There will be 25 Food Trucks for your eating pleasure from 5-9pm.

Theresa Caputo, psychic medium and star of the hit TLC show, Long Island Medium, will be appearing live where she will share her incredible ability to communicate with the dead. Witness Theresa’s amazing gifts first-hand as she gives live readings to audience members throughout the show. In addition, Theresa will share personal stories about her unique and fascinating life balancing the unpredictability of her psychic gifts while maintaining her role as a typical Long Island wife and mom. 7:30-9:30pm.

When Annie’s husband John dies of leukemia, she and best friend Chris resolve to raise money for the hospital. They persuade four fellow WI members to pose for an “alternative” calendar, with help from the hospital porter and amateur photographer Lawrence. The news of the women’s charitable venture spreads, but can their friendship survive the fame? Friday, Saturday performances, 7-9pm, Sunday performance 2-4pm. Rated PG-Comedy.

An Evening of Song Celebrating World Voice Day, Flint School of Performing Arts presents Kim Streby and faculty members of the voice department at 7pm. The doors open at 6:30pm and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A reception, generously provided by Allegro, will follow the concert. The concert is sponsored by Jim Chintyan.
