Fri. April 13 Flint School of Performing Arts April Classical Concert

An Evening of Song Celebrating World Voice Day, Flint School of Performing Arts presents Kim Streby and faculty members of the voice department at 7pm. The doors open at 6:30pm and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A reception, generously provided by Allegro, will follow the concert. The concert is sponsored by Jim Chintyan. This is a free event. 7-8pm

Fri. April 13 The Whiting Presents: Mike Super Magic & Illusion Show

Magician Mike Super returns to Flint with his new show he calls 2.OH! because of the newly created, never-before-seen magical, jaw-dropping moments taking his uniquely branded evening of mystery to a whole new level. 8-10pm

Fri. April 13 Art Walk at the Ferris Wheel

Come to downtown Flint and enjoy multiple venues featuring local talent from 6-9pm. The Ferris Wheel will feature Julie Abbott for April’s Art Walk.

Sat. April 14 Superhero Fun Run

Help raise funds to end child abuse during this family-friendly run/walk event from 9am-1pm. Wear your Superhero costume or purchase a shirt, cape and/or mask at the event. All participants receive a special custom Finisher’s medal. Registration is available online at Complete Runner or the day of the event starting at 7:30 am. After the run/walk, enjoy family activities. Those participating in the 5K should be able to complete the course within one hour.

Sat. April 14 Saturday Night After-Hours Concert: Punk Rock Night

Listen to musical sets from some of the most exciting, upcoming local and national touring Punk Rock Bands as they sing their hearts out over live guitars, drums and bass from 6:30-8:30pm. Recommended for families of all ages.

Join Charlie Bucket in his adventurous tour of Will Wonka’s world-famous Chocolate Factory. All involved will discover the true meaning of teamwork, self-confidence and self-esteem. Friday and Saturday 7:30-9:30pm, Sunday 2:30-4:30pm

Each year, the University of Michigan-Flint dance faculty creates a group of thought-provoking dances that are artistic, experimental and community driven. With a range of styles, enjoy this performance as students engage in inspirational work which furthers their growth as performers and art makers. Friday and Saturday performances 7:30-9:30pm., Sunday 2-4pm.
