Mott Children’s Health Center, University Pediatricians Announce Collaboration for Flint Pediatric Cardiology Clinic

Mott Children’s Health Center and University Pediatricians, the physicians of the Children’s Hospital of Michigan are pleased to announce the launch of a pediatric cardiology clinic within the Mott Children’s Health Center in Flint to serve the children of Genesee County.

Mott Children’s Health Center provides medical, dental and behavioral health services to eligible children in Genesee County. University Pediatricians and Children’s Hospital of Michigan provides pediatric medicine, surgery, research and training through a variety of locations throughout Michigan. This collaboration will bring much needed pediatric cardiology services within a family-friendly facility to Genesee County.

“We are thrilled to welcome the doctors from the Children’s Hospital of Michigan to our center,” said Todd Wiseley, president and CEO, Mott Children’s Health Center. “Combining our individual expertise to create a pediatric cardiology clinic will significantly expand the scope and reach of services we provide to not only our patients, but those of all pediatricians in Genesee County.”

The new pediatric cardiology clinic opened on Jan. 29, 2019, located within the Mott Children’s Health Center at 806 Tuuri Place, Flint. Doctors joining the clinic include Dr. James Galas, Dr. Deemah Mahadin and Dr. Ahmad Charaf-Eddine from Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
