Here are a few things going on around town to help bring in the new year.

New Year’s Eve Balloon Drop

Play Big is hosting a family New Year’s Eve Balloon Drop to bring in 2020. Bring in the New Year with family and friends. Pay $15 a child or teen online or $20 at the door. Price includes: Play it all pass, Glow Golf, Big Games, VR Egg Ride, Slushy. Popcorn, Pizza and Pop or Water. There will be giveaways, prizes, raffles, music and of course the Balloon drop. 12-6p. The event starts at 12pm and the Balloon Drop happen right at 5pm.

 

New Year’s Eve All Nite Skate

Roll into the New Year at Roll Haven’s All Nite Party! Admission includes 10 hours of skating, dancing and contests plus a giant prize and cash-filled balloon drop at midnight with hats, tiaras, noisemakers and a glow necklace. Each skater will receive two slices of pizza and soda.  Skate/Blade Rental extra. Online ticket sales end at 6 Dec.31. New Year’s Eve Beats x Brunch

Brunch will begin at 10pm and cross over into the new year ending at 2am. Exclusive NYE brunch menu will be provided and with each ticket purchase. One entree of your choice is included at midnight, there will be a special countdown/toast to bring the new year in with good food, good music, good drinks and GREAT vibes. Roaring 20’s Murder Mystery Dinner!

Join the Frankenmuth Farmer’s Market, in collaboration with AB Swanny Catering LLC and The Murder Mystery Company for their New Year’s Eve celebration!

This exclusive, ticket-only event will thrill you with a Prime Rib & Lobster Tail meal to die for and a Murder Mystery game you play a role in solving. At the stroke of Midnight, they will ring in the 20’s all over again with a Champagne Toast and a collective ROAR from horns, noise makers, and crackers. While not required, costumes and dressing in high 20’s style is highly recommended and encouraged! Dinner wine and beer will be served with the scrumptious meal and an open cash bar will be available onsite. It’s everything a great NYE should be! New Year’s Eve Comedy Show

Foutch’s Strike Zone will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Comedy Show with headliners Jason Douglas and Ron Sweet. If you’re looking for a fun event on New Year’s Eve, look no further. The show begins he show begins at 10pm, with doors opening at 9pm. Tickets are $25 each with all proceeds going to Flint Area Baseball & Softball (Whaley & Broome Park Improvements). New Year’s Eve Glow Party
Side Tracks Bar & Grill

Glow in the New Year with Side Track’s annual ‘Glow in the New Year’ Party featuring a local favorite and popular band, Westfall. 9pm-2am. Tickets include admission, glow sticks, champagne toast and a pizza buffet at midnight. Must be 21 or older to attend. Proper ID will be required for entry. All ticket sales are final – absolutely NO refunds, regardless of any situation(s) beyond our control. Reservations will not be available for this event. All sears for first come, first serve. After It All New Year’s Eve
Sherman’s Lounge
4211 Fenton Rd., Flint

After It All starts at 8:30pm and ends around 2am. $5 cover. Sherman’s will take reservations for four or more people, but only until the band starts. Reservations are pulled when the band starts. Hats, horns, and a great atmosphere are provided. Champagne can be brought to the bar and Sherman’s will store it in the cooler until midnight. Security and additional lit parking will be available.
