Vehicle City Fest, a three day music and art benefit event in Downtown Flint, was organized to help children affected by lead poisoning during the Flint Water Crisis. The musical festivities lasted from Friday, June 3 to Sunday, June 5, and took place at a variety of venues, including Local 432, Churchill’s, The Loft, and The Lunch Studio. Proceeds from Vehicle City Fest were donated to the Flint Child Health and Development Fund, established by the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.
