The “Stuff your Stocking” event will take place this Saturday, December 21 from 9am-2pm at Ballenger Field house on the campus of Mott Community College. At this event, children will receive support for the holidays and the second half of the school year.
Your child must be registered for the event. Registration will take place from 7-10pm on Friday, December 20 and again at 8am on December 21 at the Mott Community College Event Center. Registration will be available on a first come, first serve basis. In consideration of children’s bedtimes, Pack Your Back will accept official documentation for children (birth certificate, insurance card, etc.) for children to register for the event. Children must be present Saturday. All registered families will need to be in the Event Center at least 15-minutes PRIOR to their scheduled time. Children must be under the age of 14 to receive support and if the child receives support from a similar agency during the holidays (Toys for Tots/Old Newsboys) they will be ineligible for this event.
This year at Stuff your Stocking, parents will be able to pick out two toys to surprise their child with and the children will be able to pick out one toy. Pack Your Back will be distributing backpacks and school supplies to all children in attendance. When parents gain access to the venue, their children will be able to enjoy inflatable activities, arts and crafts, and snacks.
