It’s not every day that you get the chance to check out some truly classic cars. Sponsored by Friends of Sloan*Longway, The Golden Memories Automobile Gathering is happening at the Sloan Museum from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm this Sunday. And, it’s free!
The special event is only for original or authentically restored vehicles that were produced in 1965 or earlier (no visual modifications are allowed). If you have a car you want to show off, you can register between 9:00 am and noon on the day of the event.
Visitors can also see Sloan Museum or Buick Gallery at regular admission prices. The event is non-competitive, so there will be no judging or awards, but any vehicles celebrating 50-, 75-, or 100-year anniversaries will be specially recognized.
The day promises to be relaxing and fun! Take a Sunday drive up to Sloan Museum and check out some oldies but goodies.

Have you viewed pictures from the Hubble Telescope, like the Tapestry of Blazing Starbirth or the Ring Nebula, that light up the darkness with bursts of magnificent color? Have you pondered the quantity of stars—too numerous to count? Have you paused to wonder what it’s all for? What are we to learn or understand from it? Is there purpose in it all? Is there something, or someone, out there?
