Fiesta Mexicana

Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 9.10.2022

A Michigan tradition since 1957, this family-friendly fiesta had it all! Live entertainment included a beautiful dance performance by El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil and live music by Conjunto Rey de Pontiac, Grupo Viento, and Karizma Band de Holland. Enjoying the late summer sunshine, attendees gathered for fellowship and delicious, authentic food and desserts, as well as many craft and product vendors, a beer tent, Mexican Bingo and a taco eating contest.

Are you starting to feel the energy in the air? In our family, the month of May has always been busy. From celebrating Mother’s Day, my husband’s birthday and our anniversary — this year marks 42 years for us — to remembering our military service personnel over Memorial Day weekend, there has been a lot to do. And now, we’re throwing the sports schedules of two grandsons into the mix.
