The Fenton Moose Lodge was the site of this fundraiser that helps provide free sports training, competition, health screenings and inclusive programs for more than 20,000 michigan residents with intellectual disabilities. After a costume parade, more than 250 people took the plunge into frigid Lake Fenton! An awards presentation and After Splash Bash concluded the event.
This diversity initiative WAs presented in conjunction with the exhibition opening of Vanessa German: Miracles and Glory Abound and celebration of Black History Month. the elegant evening featured a topical lecture followed by gallery opening, strolling dinner and live entertainment.
Folks escaped the frigid weather to view an amazing collection of Super Cars, more than 125 vintage, classic and custom vehicles, sports cars, muscle cars, hot rods and trucks in the two arenas and on the mezzanine, more than 50 sponsor- and automotive-related vendor displays, demonstrations,concessions,live entertainment and more!
Hosted by Voices for Children Advocacy Center and United Way, this fun-filled breakfast celebrates our community’s champions for children, recognizing and thanking individuals and organizations for their contributions toward making Genesee County the best place to raise children.
One of Genesee County’s premier events, this celebration gathers the community to recognize contributions of African Americans to world history. The brunch also inspires residents to make a difference in our community, state and nation. Proceeds help support the GDL’s Summer Reading Challenge that reaches over 10,000 Genesee County children.
This annual fundraiser had a ‘50s theme this year and included cocktails, silent and live auctions, dinner and prizes for best attire. The lively evening wrapped up with an AfterGlow Party.
This event is hosted by the Flint River Watershed Coalition and Corridor Alliance Chapter of Flint River Watershed Coalition, “Partnering to Promote, Protect and Improve the Flint River and its Watershed.” The evening included a buffet dinner, raffles and awards.
Centered on God’s love, this prom night experience is for people with special needs ages 14 and older. This year, Night to Shine celebrated its fifth anniversary, with 655 churches from around the world coming together to host approximately 100,000 honored guests through the support of 200,000 volunteers.
The Ancient Order of Hibernians is America’s oldest Irish Catholic Fraternal Organization. Hosted by 2019 Grand Marshal, Matt Kenny, this family-friendly annual fundraiser features the Miss Hibernia Scholarship Pageant. This year’s $1,500 cash scholarship winner was Fiona Caughey. Attendees also enjoyed traditional Irish music, a live auction, corned beef sandwiches and Irish stew.
