Fore! As summer neared its end, the lush greens in Linden were filled with enthusiastic golfers who enjoyed entertainment, food and fun while raising funds for Hurley’s Level I Trauma & Burn Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
For 100 years, Whaley Children’s Center has been a place where children find safety, stability, and hope. As the Flint-based nonprofit celebrates its centennial in 2026, the organization is reflecting on a century of service while continuing to evolve to meet the changing needs of Michigan’s most vulnerable youth.
