This year, Hurley Medical Center’s marketing team won nine Addy awards from the American Advertising Federation (AAF), Greater Flint.

Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. The Hurley Marketing team won silver and gold awards for excellence in a variety of advertising areas including design, digital creative technology, broadcast and video creation. The team also took both Best in Show awards for broadcast and print. All gold and best of show awards will now compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards

“The Hurley family couldn’t be prouder of our marketing team as they continue to rack up awards and be recognized for excellence in their field. As Hurley Medical Center provides unparalleled care in our community and leads Genesee County as the preferred hospital provider, our talented marketing staff always find creative, innovative, and profound ways to depict our distinctive relationship with the communities that we serve,” adds Michael Burnett, MSW, MBA, VP for Service Line Development, Chief Strategy Officer and Interim President, Hurley Foundation.

The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. The AAF Greater Flint connects professionals in the greater Flint region who are involved in the advertising industry.
