Don’t miss it art lovers! Friday, September 6 will be the last day of the Mott Community College Faculty Exhibition sponsored by the Greater Flint Arts Council. The exhibit showcases original works of art created by the Mott art faculty. The 4,000 sq. ft gallery at Greater Flint Arts Council is filled with wonderful works of art in a large variety of mediums. Admission to the gallery is free and it is open today, Thursday and Friday from 9am-5pm.
Also sponsored by the Greater Flint Arts Council, is the Big Clay exhibit at the new Buckham Gallery. This exhibit features large-scale ceramics from Michigan artists! This is an invitation exhibition and the featured artists include: Guy Adamec, Mark Chatterley, Mary Fritz, Edward L. Harkness, Brian Kakas, Tom Phardel, Ken Shenstone, John Stephenson, Susanne Stephenson and Marie Woo. The exhibition will end on Saturday, September 7. Admission to the gallery is free and the gallery will be open today, Thursday and Friday from 11am-6pm and on Saturday, 11am -5pm.
