Each year, Artists, fans, collectors and writers flock to the Flint Farmer’s Market for the Flint Fall Comic Fest! This fun event for all ages showcases local comic creators, vendors from across the Midwest, Cosplay, books, toys, movies and other neat and rare collectibles. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day and the Cosplay contest begins at 12:30. The first 150 attendees will be given a FREE 5-comic grab bag, full of comics and other pop culture goodies.
Some of the guests and attractions this year include: local sequential artist and teacher, Robert Marzullo; Comic Genre veteran, William Messner Loebs; Justin Faber; Joshua Harris; Ted Davies; Scott Rosema; and Michigan comic company, Source Point Press. Also, on hand this year, will be an assortment of Star Wars-style droids and members of the 501st Star Wars Reenactment Group.
Attendees are encouraged to dress up as your favorite pop culture character and have a great time.
Admission is $5 for adults, and FREE for children 12 and under accompanied by a paying adult.
