Big Brother Big Sister Diamond Jubilee This Saturday

This Saturday, Sloan Museum at Courtland Center plays host to the Big Brothers Big Sisters Diamond Jubilee! At 6pm, join community leaders, bigs, littles and others as they pay tribute to those organizations, individuals and businesses that have helped Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint and Genesee County be successful in their endeavors. The night will consist of a meet & greet followed by a dinner, entertainment and an awards ceremony. Attendees are welcome to tour the Sloan Museum exhibits!

If you cannot attend the event please consider making a donation to the cause here.

The fundraising goal is set at $30k and it is almost there! Be the donation that puts it over the top.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint and Genesee County has had the same mission for 75 years – creating professionally supported one-to-one matches for kids who want to realize their full potential. If you would like to become a “big” the process is easy. Schedule a volunteer orientation and interview with staff. If you feel this is a good volunteer fit, fill out the enrollment paperwork, and then complete volunteer training before you are matched with your “little.” Littles are youth ages 6-18 who reside in Genesee County and aspire to realize their full potential.
