Little chefs embark on a delightful culinary adventure filled with laughter, creativity, and the joy of making delicious treats! At the end of each class, the young chefs get to savor the fruits of their labor. Recommended for children ages 6-14. Parents must be in attendance. African American Film Series – Lowndes County and the Road to Black Power

Presented by Communities First, Inc. at Flint Institute of Arts, 1120 E. Kearsley, Flint. This powerful documentary explores the rise of citizen-led voting rights campaigns in Lowndes County, Alabama—a Black-majority community that became a vital hub for the Civil Rights Movement. Presented by Montrose Blueberry Festival, 141 Parkway Drive, Montrose. Time 8:30AM to 12PM. A fun addition to the summer races. Runners are encouraged to sign up and run with their dogs!!
