A thunderstorm on Saturday wreaked havoc on this second annual Michigan-grown art, performance and music fest, but Sunday drew artisans, musicians, vendors and hippies of all ages to celebrate peace, love and happiness.
For 100 years, Whaley Children’s Center has been a place where children find safety, stability, and hope. As the Flint-based nonprofit celebrates its centennial in 2026, the organization is reflecting on a century of service while continuing to evolve to meet the changing needs of Michigan’s most vulnerable youth.
