Flint Handmade is hosting the 10th Annual Spring Craft Market on Saturday, April 29 from 9am to 3pm at the Flint Masonic Temple, Downtown. The market will feature over 40 local crafters and artisans offering large variety of unique, modern handmade items such as: original illustrations, vintage-inspired jewelry, knitted and crocheted goods, hand-poured candles, natural bath and beauty products, plush toys and much more.

“We are very excited to offer free admission, courtesy of Balance and Beauty Collective, which will be offering body-positive spa and wellness services on stage,” says Crystal Pepperdine, Executive Director of Flint Handmade in a press statement. “We have so many artisans and activities for our shoppers to enjoy. We want everyone to spend the day with Flint Handmade.”

The Spring Craft Market will also have a free activity room with make-and-takes for kids from 4-H Genesee County / MSU Extension, the Flint Institute of Arts, the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, Hart’s Cottage and Totem Books. The first 25 shoppers of the day will receive goodie bags filled with vendor coupons, merchandise and other treats.
The Temple Dining Room inside The Masonic Temple will be open for sit-down and take-out lunches during the event. Hot Cups will offer coffee and other beverages in the lobby.

“I really love the Flint Handmade craft markets,” said Meghan Hoffman, owner of Floradora, who will be in the lobby with fresh spring floral arrangements available for purchase. “It’s a great atmosphere for all ages.  I’m honored to participate in such a positive Flint event.”
