According to owner Chris Pangerl, the company succeeds by sticking to its motto, “Putting Mother Nature to work for you.” During the winter, the company provides snow removal services, commercial plowing, salting and sidewalk clearing. They’re obviously doing something right, because Chris can proudly say, “We still have our very first customer from when we started in 1995!” And making customers happy is the most satisfying part of the business, according to Chris. “It’s fun to go to a home, meet with a new client and help them beautify their surroundings,” he says. “We give their home a fresh look, and it’s great to see their delight in the finished product!” In the last few years, landscape renovation has been the main focus of Chris’ Complete Lawn Care and Landscaping, and this part of the business has taken them all around the state. “We’ve done residential projects as far away as Charlevoix,” Chris reported. His company has also done the landscaping for several Social Security offices in Cleveland, Ann Arbor and Flint. But as a longtime resident of the area, he most enjoys working with his customers right here in Genesee County.
