Get ready for some fun this weekend! The 12th annual Bikes on the Bricks will take place in Downtown Flint Sept. 6-Sept. 8, where thousands of motorcycles will hit the bricks on Saginaw Street. The event was founded in 2007 and has become Flint’s premier biker event, featuring a bike show, police skills competition, food and merchandise vendors, and police escorted ride.
In the fall of 2007, an idea was developed for a motorcycle show to complement Flint’s classic car event, Back to the Bricks. The first Bikes on the Bricks was held on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007. Approximately 100 motorcycle diehards showed up that rainy, cold day.
Even though Bikes on the Bricks had a humble beginning, it is now a premier three-day bike event that attracts thousands of visitors. Proceeds from the police escorted ride are given to support charitable organizations in Genesee County. For more information visit: https://bikesonthebricks.com/
