First Fridays: Movie Science at Longway Planetarium

While most action movies bend the laws of physics a little under the guise of artistic license, others turn an entirely blind eye to science. Join Planetarium Manager Buddy Stark as he critiques some of the particulary bad science found on the silver screen. Admission includes the showing of Stars: The Powerhouses of the Universe.

Davison Art & Music Fair

Celebrate the arts with the works of local artists – paintings, jewelry, local authors, metal art, face-painting, bird feeders, sculptures, wind chimes, Shabby Chic Furniture, a scavenger hunt, sidewalk chalk art and more, including food vendors and live music from Bluegrass to Rock.

Flint Monarchs v Illinois (Hoopville) Warriors

The Flint Monarchs are an American women’s professional basketball team based in Flint. The Monarchs compete in the Global Women’s Basketball Association (GWBA) as a member club of the Northern Conference. Watch this face-paced game as the Flint Monarchs take on the Illinois Warriors. Tickets for home games are $10 and available at the Event Center box office.
