Opening Athearn Realty wasn’t a long-held dream, but the right door opened at the right time. I’ve always believed that when something is meant for you, the path becomes clear. I loved every aspect of real estate, and eventually it simply made sense to step out on my own.
My vision was to build a brokerage rooted in relationships, community impact, and integrity. I also wanted a space where agents could grow both professionally and personally. Athearn Realty has been built 100% by referral, sustained by strong personal and business relationships.
I’ve been blessed with incredible mentors. My parents were my first examples of hard work and determination, both building businesses from the ground up. From them, I learned that I could accomplish anything I set my mind to.
My faith in God has also guided every step of this journey. I believe He opens the right doors at the right time and gives me the courage and clarity to move forward. My husband has been one of my greatest supporters, and my four boys are my daily inspiration — the “why” behind everything I do.
As we head into the new year, sellers need to understand that this is no longer a market to “test” a high price. Overpricing will cost you. Homes must be priced correctly from day one to avoid losing momentum, buyers, and ultimately money. Buyers, meanwhile, have real opportunity: inventory is rising, rates are softening, and the market is becoming more balanced. It can still be competitive, but well-prepared clients on both sides are positioned for success.
Seeing our sign go up on the corner of Mill Street and Adelaide in Fenton was a full-circle moment, the day everything felt real and official.
In 2026, my goal is to deepen our impact through more community-centered events and meaningful connections. I want Athearn Realty to be known for showing up with resources, support, and heart for our clients. My mission is to build a legacy rooted in service, a brokerage that doesn’t just help families move, but helps them grow, thrive, and feel connected to the place they call home.
