This means it’s easier than ever to enter your furry, feathered, or scaly friend into the competition. Whether your pet is the most photogenic, has the most personality, or just makes you smile, now’s the perfect time to show them off to the community—at no cost to you.
But that’s not all! In honor of the winner, My City will be making a donation to a local pet shelter. So, not only could your pet be crowned the My City Out of this World Pet Star of Greater Flint 2024, but you’ll also be helping other animals in need.

Deadline to enter your pets is 11:59pm September 15, 2024.
All pets entered will receive the following:
- A custom-designed digital faux-My City magazine cover featuring your pet.
- Placement in Mycitymag.com’s “Out of this World Spectacular Pet Search 2024” online Photo Gallery.
The Pet Search Winner will also receive:
- Your pet featured in the October 2024 issue of My City.
- The title of “My City Out of this World Pet Star of Greater Flint 2024”
