Getting into the Spirit

The 10th Annual First Frost Arts & Fine Crafts Fair moves into town this weekend, November 7-8. Ticket prices start at $5 for general admission and $4 for seniors 62 and older. Children 12 and under are admitted free.

The fair features three main attractions for the public to enjoy. Handmade items created from fiber, wood, metal, clay, glass, mixed media and more will be available for purchase. This is a great opportunity to get your holiday shopping done early while supporting the community. The event will feature items created by 50 different artists.

Also on display, the Festival of Trees will include holiday trees and wreaths for sale. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on skillfully decorated and appropriately themed trees and wreaths created by local designers, florists and volunteers.

In addition and back by popular demand this year are live glass-blowing demonstrations by Charlie Shoulders.

This event is presented by the Founders Society and the Flint Institute of Arts.
