Dear Readers,
It goes without saying, but this is the time of year when we all acknowledge our gratitude for what we have. I believe that if this message is reaching you, you also have a grateful heart and are finding ways to give back, to help those less fortunate. I feel that I do my part; of course, we always wish we could do more.
This sentiment brings me to our bright and festive cover featuring the inaugural MCM Cityzen of the Year, Ms. Stephanie Confer. She’s known by many in Greater Flint for her involvement in many causes big and small, and the joy she gets from giving back is an inspiration. We had a great time at the photo shoot capturing her ebullient spirit. (Our thanks to Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club for indulging us.) Stephanie shares her thoughts about volunteering.
So many people are driven to give back and make Flint a better place and are succeeding in a big way. You find these stories in our magazine every month. It’s our way of giving back.

Good Morning, i just wanted to you know just how much i LOVE your magazine! I really enjoy reading all the articles and looking at all the great pictures. I love that you include things that are happening around the area, this is my first stop when we choose to do something fun on the weekends. i just want you to know how much my family and I enjoy reading this every month. thank you!
also, i have a subscription but i always need extra copies so i go to Boarders to pick up a few but there always sold out! do you have another retail store i could buy extra copies at?
