From May 12-15, the Ford Tri-Motor Tour, hosted by EAA Chapter 77, flew into Bishop International Airport. Attendees were able to experience the golden age of aviation and take flight in a Ford Tri-Motor, giving passengers an opportunity to travel back to the early days of luxurious commercial flight. The Tri-Motor was one of the first airplanes used by America’s early commercial airlines and helped spur the creation of the commercial airline industry. For more info, go to FlyTheFord.org.
