Flowers–Outside the Box!

According to floral professionals, the 2017 trends for bridal bouquets exhibit an interesting variety of color, texture and style. The look departs from symmetrical, hand-tied designs – though, those are still classic and popular – featuring unexpected combos of flowers and other natural elements.
The top flower choices include anemone, garden roses, peonies, ranunculus and spray roses. Colors are softer – shades of cream and gray with plenty of greenery. Pops of color can reflect the wedding palette.

An interesting trend is toward a less formal look, achieved with layers, length and varieties of cascading greenery.

Natural materials such as pine cones, leaves, etc. add a subtle, earthy element. Many brides are replacing flowers with various succulents, because they’re available year ’round, last longer and can be replanted – eco-friendly and often, less expensive.

With the flower wreath being a very popular hair embellishment, it’s natural for it to match the bouquet.
