Few things are more beautiful than fall in Michigan, and I’m sure many of you share my excitement about wearing scarves, jackets, and hats before the frigid months ahead. Here are some fall trends to take you through the season and beyond.
This fall’s fashion brings an ode to decades passed; you’ll see 70s and 60s mod inspiration with fringe and color-blocking. Metallic gold is also prominent in this season’s collections; add it to your wardrobe in a subtle way, like with the gold flat shoe shown below.
Don’t forget new florals for fall! I fell in love with the top I’m wearing [opposite]from Mainstream Boutique in Grand Blanc. A dark background color will ground the pattern and pull it into autumn.
Lastly, this season is all about the bomber! Designers took this sporty jacket and dressed it up and down – adorned with lots of details or plain in your favorite color, it can add a fun and surprising twist to your transitional wardrobe.
