October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Insta-Lube, Regional Medical Imaging (RMI), 103.9 The Fox, and other community businesses are teaming up to make an impact and raise funds to support local community members in need.
Every Monday in October, $10.39 from every oil change at all four area Insta-Lube locations will be donated to the Hurley Breast Cancer Navigation Program & Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute. WRSR 103.9 The Fox will host live remotes from 11:00am to 1:00pm every Monday in support of the programs.
To date, the Change Your Oil, Change a Life program has raised over $130,000 to financially assist women who are undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Pink Team Captain Financial Plus Credit Union and Pink Team Members Edible Arrangements, Fick Landscape Supplies, Streeter Brothers Inc., Cops & Robbers Ice Cream, Pesto’s, Curtis Flowers, Flushing Farms, and Modern Outdoor Furnaces are also lending support to the cause.
When’s the last time you changed your oil? I bet it’s coming due. Take the time to stop in at one of four Insta-Lube locations on a Monday in October to get your vehicle ready for the winter season and lend support to the fight against breast cancer.
