On June 9, over 400 people from 90 different cities gathered at Grand Blanc High School to participate in an event benefitting the Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance and raise awareness of the disease in the area.

When Chad Grant, the new CEO and President of McLaren Flint, met with My City Magazine, the team was greeted with a great big smile and an enthusiastic handshake. At a special assembly held on June 8, Grand Blanc East Middle School presented a check to CMN Hospitals in the amount of $2,644.70. The funds were raised during their recent Walk-a-thon that was inspired by one of their own seventh grade students, Rebekah Sassack.
