McLaren Lapeer Region has been honored for exceptional quality and safety in five categories with MPRO’s 2017 Governor’s Award of Excellence. The awards are given to health care providers that “have achieved, maintained and continually improved in specific rigorous milestones related to the award they received.” The presentation of awards took place May 10 in Bath Township.

At a special assembly held on June 8, Grand Blanc East Middle School presented a check to CMN Hospitals in the amount of $2,644.70. The funds were raised during their recent Walk-a-thon that was inspired by one of their own seventh grade students, Rebekah Sassack.

The term “Work-Life Balance” is, when you boil it down, kind of strange.
