Come out for a night of exciting hockey when the University of Michigan-Flint Men’s Hockey team plays against Northwood University from 8:30-10:30pm.

Back by popular demand, Classic Albums Live returns for a third year in a row! This year, they will be performing The Eagles Hotel California album, note for note, cut for cut. Featuring the massive hits New Kid in Town, Life in the Fast Lane, Heartache Tonight and the title song Hotel California, this was one of the best-selling albums of the ‘70s, and the most popular Eagles album. 7:30-9:30pm.

For you movie lovers out there, it’s a tradition for many families to hit the local cinema and catch a show on Christmas Day. And this year’s films will not disappoint. Here is a list of some of the movies that will be playing on Christmas Day at your local theater.

Partake in delicious foods, tasty beverages, live music and the works of various artists on display throughout a variety of Downtown Flint art galleries and businesses, including The Local Grocer, which hosts an evening of social crafting with Flint Handmade, along with a display of framed prints and handmade goods from local artists. Stop by the Greater Flint Arts Council, 601 S. Saginaw St. for this month’s walking map, while supplies last. 6-9pm.

Visit Mott Community College for its second annual Student Art Fair. Current students, alumni and faculty will feature works for sale just in time for the holidays. There will be something for everyone! Bring cash and credit cards, no checks accepted. Friday, 4-6pm, Saturday 10am-2pm.

It was a sea of red on Saturday, December 1st, in Downtown Flint during the annual YMCA Santa Run presented by Al Serra Auto Plaza. The fun charity event is a 5K and 1-mile event for the entire community! In the spirit of the season, each participant received a five-piece Santa suit to wear during the event. Hundreds of Santas hit the bricks to raise money for over 8,000 youth, families and seniors to use the services at the YMCA!
