In December 2025, brothers Hans Namo and Ronnie Namo became the new owners of all three Sagano locations. Drawn to Sagano’s distinctive combination of fresh sushi, Japanese-inspired cuisine, and interactive hibachi dining, the brothers recognized an opportunity to build upon the restaurant’s strong reputation while honoring the traditions guests have come to love.

With extensive hospitality industry experience and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences, Hans and Ronnie are dedicated to preserving the Sagano legacy while introducing thoughtful improvements that will bring new energy and excitement to the brand.

Sagano has built a strong social media presence with the help of a dedicated marketing team that produces engaging photos, videos and entertaining skits highlighting the guest experience. The team also completely redesigned the restaurant’s website from the ground up, creating a fresh, modern online presence that reflects the excitement of the brand.

A New Chapter in Downtown Fenton

Sagano Fenton was selected as the first location for renovations and enhancements designed to complement the vibrant Downtown Fenton atmosphere. The restaurant is currently undergoing a transformation, including a complete remodel and expansion of the bar area.

Previously focused on beer and wine offerings, the renovated bar will feature signature specialty drinks and a full cocktail menu. Expanded hours will allow guests to enjoy Downtown Fenton’s lively evening atmosphere while experiencing Sagano’s sushi, small plates, and hibachi favorites in a sophisticated and welcoming setting.

Future plans also include creating an outdoor patio area where guests can enjoy their favorite Sagano dishes and drinks in the fresh air. The new ownership team is focused on bringing additional excitement to the community through rotating promotions, happy hour opportunities, sushi specials, and other events.
