Goodrich knows how to have a good time, and the annual Good Times in Goodrich festival proved it once again. Presented by the nonprofit Goodrich Festival & Events, the two-day celebration drew thousands of people to the community for a weekend filled with music, cars, food, family fun and plenty of hometown spirit.
But behind the entertainment is a mission that makes the festival especially meaningful. Goodrich Festival & Events is committed to giving back to the community it calls home. Proceeds and support from the event help families in need, provide scholarships for high school students pursuing careers in the trades, support local school clubs and assist community organizations, including the Lions Club, Goodrich/Atlas Historical Society and Goodrich/Atlas Cemetery Club.
“We are proud to be part of an amazing community,” organizers said. “We love our Goodrich community.”
The weekend kicked off Friday, July 31, with The Hoedown in the “G” Town, sponsored by Randy Wise Auto Group. Music filled the evening as Bullhonkey Deluxe, Y’all Band and Shiatown took the stage. Festivalgoers enjoyed an evening of live entertainment and community camaraderie.
Saturday brought the heart of the festival, sponsored by Swank Builders. The Goodrich Festival featured food trucks, vendors, crafters, live music and activities for the entire family. Children enjoyed the kid zone, foam party and petting zoo, while adults had plenty of opportunities to shop, eat and catch up with friends and neighbors.
A major highlight was the 12th Annual Car and Truck Show, which featured more than 400 vehicles in 2026 and remains one of Mid-Michigan’s largest gatherings for automotive enthusiasts. Rows of classic cars, trucks and unique vehicles provided plenty for visitors to admire and talk about.
The fun continued with a cornhole tournament and the Back to the ’80s Party, featuring local favorites Riot Enterprise and Square Pegz. The evening also included performances by Hound of Hadley, Riot Enterprise and Square Pegz, keeping the crowd entertained well into the night.
It’s a celebration of Goodrich—and a reminder that good times are even better when they give back.
