On Saturday, December 14 the Genesee Valley Mall will be packed with excited Youth Quest Biz students as they work to sell their wares for Christmas. The fair will be located in the JCPenney wing. More than 60 young Youth Quest entrepreneurs will dazzle shoppers with an array of products including: jewelry, candles, bath bombs, décor, slime, sweets, ornaments, blankets, hot cocoa mix and more.
YQ Biz works with students through several weeks of entrepreneurship lessons provided by the Youth Quest after-school program that serves K-12 students at Flint Community Schools and International Academy of Flint. The program is made possible through the generous support of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and 21st Century Community Learning Centers. The fair will take place from 11am-2pm and admission is free.
