Genesee County’s 2021 high school football season started with a bang at the Vehicle City Gridiron Classic. After a year hiatus, the crowd was overjoyed to fill the stands and support our local teams. Day 1’s early game featured Frankenmuth pulling away from Goodrich by a score of 28-14, while the nightcap showcased a powerful rushing attack that led to a Flushing 33-6 win over Flint Powers Catholic. Day 2 featured a Grand Blanc win 40-34 over East Lansing and Linden fell to Pontiac Notre Dame 34-8.
