The Delphonics are an American R&B/Soul vocal group from Philadelphia, PA. The group was most popular during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Their most notable hits include: La-La, Didn’t I, Break Your Promise, I’m Sorry, and Ready or Not Here I Come. Their hit songs were primarily composed, written and produced by Lead Vocalist and founding member William “Poogie” Hart.
The mission of the New McCree Theatre is “To tell the African American history in the African American voice.” It is located at G-2138 W. Carpenter Rd., Flint, inside the Northwestern Preparatory Academy.
