All aboard! Railfans Weekend is happening at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad this Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd from 10am to 5pm. The event is co-sponsored by Genesee County Parks and Mid-Michigan Railway Historical Society.

Ride along on the Huckleberry Railroad’s steam locomotive 464, and listen to a featured history lesson about the Huckleberry Railroad and its railcars, including a 110 year-old steam locomotive 464, and one of the last two surviving Denver and Rio Grande K-27 engines.

This railway adventure has a one-of-a-kind train stop tour, exhibits of model train displays from Michigan and Ohio railway groups, and a photo opportunity with the caboose car. You can also visit the Hobo Camp and sing along to railroad songs.

Rich in history and timeless fun, don’t miss a chance to ride back through time.
