FLINT – Mott Children’s Health Center is pleased to announce the launch of our new pediatric rehabilitation program including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.

The rehabilitation program joins Mott’s existing programs in pediatrics, behavioral health, dental, audiology, cardiology, and lipid disorders. Mott Children’s Health Center is a pediatric center of excellence providing a broad range of healthcare services to eligible children in Genesee County.

“We are excited to offer these much-needed therapy and rehabilitation services in our family-friendly building in Flint,” said Todd Wiseley, President and CEO, Mott Children’s Health Center. “Having our rehabilitation services located in our incredible facility gives the community the opportunity to receive services for rehabilitation, health and wellness, dental and other services all under one roof.”

“We are incredibly proud of our Board and our team for supporting this important expansion of our services during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Jeff House, Director of Child & Adolescent Health Services at Mott. “It is a testament to their commitment to the children of Genesee County.”

The new Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinic opened in September 2020, and was welcomed to new space in the Mott Children’s Health Center building on March 1, 2021. Access to care is easy and available through a referral by a primary care physician. Children do not have to be an existing patient of Mott Children’s Health Center to receive care in this program.
