If you want to sample some of Michigan’s best in food, beer and wine, the Flint Farmers’ Market is the place to be this Saturday, November 7, from 6-10 pm. The strolling indoor event will be in a setting similar to a park with live music and lawn games (including Giant Jenga and Corn Hole) to be enjoyed by all.

Ticket prices are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. For this price, guests receive a commemorative tasting glass and ten sample tickets, which can be used to try any beer (2oz) or wine (1oz) samples at the event. Additional sample tickets can be purchased for $1 each. These ticket prices also include parking, live musical entertainment, lawn games and a photo booth.

For $40, attendees can get a VIP ticket that includes early entry into the event, a separate registration line, both types of sample glasses, an upgraded 20 sample tickets and access to the upstairs VIP area which will feature specialty beer and wine not available to regular admission.

More than 100 beers and 50 wines produced in Michigan will be featured for sampling. Food vendors at the festival include Beirut, Charlie’s BBQ, Steady Eddy’s and many more. A complete list of beer, wine, and food vendors can be viewed online. Vendors will be competing for gold, silver, or bronze medals that will be awarded in food, beer and wine categories. In addition, Market vendors will be open for business.

Last year’s festival attracted nearly 2,000 people and this year is expected to grow! A portion of proceeds from this event will support the Flint Farmers’ Market.
