Hurley Doctors Awarded for Community Efforts

The mission of Hurley Medical Center is “Clinical Excellence. Service to People.” The facility’s expert physicians often go above and beyond to help patients, their families and the community. It was recently announced that two Hurley doctors are being honored for providing families extra care and support.

Michael Jaggi

Gift of Life Michigan (GOLM) is recognizing Michael Jaggi, DO, FACP, FACEP for his extraordinary work at Hurley Medical Center to help fulfill the wishes of organ and tissue donors and their families. Dr. Jaggi received the Gift of Life Michigan Hospital Executive Leader Champion Award for his unwavering commitment to help with the donation process at Hurley.

“Dr. Jaggi’s passion and commitment to donation goes back many years, and in his time at Hurley he’s helped many patients and families give their final gifts,” GOLM CEO Dorrie Dils said. “He’s a problem-solver and has been known to drop everything – even on vacation – to help with a case, so that donors and their families are served. Dr. Jaggi is a true leader at Hurley.”

Kirk Stucky, Psy.D. ABPP – RP, CN

The Brain Injury Association of Michigan gave Kirk Stucky, Psy.D. ABPP – RP, CN its 2019 Volunteer Award. Dr. Stucky is being recognized for his dedication to improving the lives of those affected by brain injury and efforts to reduce the incidence and impact of brain injury. The Brain Injury Association says Dr. Stucky has its admiration and appreciation for his enthusiastic support in these efforts.
