Help Support the Patients at Hurley this Holiday Season!

0

Hurley Medical Center will once again host the Glow for Miracles event taking place next week, December 17 at 6pm. It is the only Glow for Miracles event in mid-Michigan this season.

Glow for Miracles is a chance for the members of our community to join together at the hospital to sing and wave glow sticks or flashlights in support of Hurley’s Pediatric and NICU patients and families to help them through a difficult holiday season.  This year, Wahlburgers has donated 60 glow sticks for Hurley patients to wave inside the hospital. For the community, Dort Federal Credit Union will provide 200 glow sticks. The Wahlburgers food truck will be active on site if people would like to purchase tots, churros, cider, hot chocolate or coffee.

Last year, Glow for Miracles coincided with the Vote for Miracles campaign and the Genesee County community banded together to help Hurley win the $50,000 prize. This year there is no contest associated with the Glow for Miracles event so Hurley is trying to raise $40,000 on their own. If you are interested in helping out in this endeavor please donate at bit.ly/SantaCares4Kids.
