For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2020 and what better way to kick off the celebration than with a New Year Hike. For-Mar has been inspiring Genesee County residents to get outside for 50 years.

For-Mar staff will lead three different guided hikes on Saturday, Jan. 4 — by boot, snowshoe or cross-country ski! Come dressed for the weather and bring your own cross skis or snow shoes for the first hike of the year. Some snow shoes (youth and adult) will be available to check out on a first-come, first-served basis. Hikes start at 1-2:30pm and 2-3:30pm. The cost is $4 and pre-registration is required today, Jan. 2.
