It’s Funday Monday time at MCM! The end of summer is approaching but there is still plenty of time to enjoy the warm weather outside. And, there are some fun things to do at the Genesee County Parks. Today, a For-Mar Naturalist is hosting a guided hike, Wings and Things: Bats!

How many species of bats live in Michigan?  Discover the answer to this question, and others, while walking through a scenic park. Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and protection against mosquitos. This nature hike is at Flushing County Park, Pavilion 5, 4417 N. McKinley Rd. in Flushing from 6:30-7:30pm and is recommended for families with teens. Free admission! No pre-registration is required.

On Tuesday, join the community drum circle at Riverbank Park from 6:30-7:30, or enjoy the relaxation of Tai-Chi from 6:30-&:30 at For-Mar.

On Wednesday between 10-11am you can enjoy an hour of walking at Eldorado Vista Park and at Max Brandon Park (Pavilion 1). Families of all ages enjoy this stress-free hour of walking. So, enjoy and get outside to catch a little bit of summer sunshine!
