It’s time again to move with the beat at Tapology’s 2019 Concert at The Whiting! On Sunday, October 27, the highly-anticipated, fall festival will honor the women of tap with a unique and electric performance. While putting on their best show, this year Tapology will be raising funds for Flint’s Children of Challenge.

This year’s featured festival artists are Dianne “Lady Di” Walker, Maurice Chestnut, Jason Samuels Smith, twins Joseph and Josette Wiggan, Jason Janas, Flint’s own Bradleys, Northwest Tap Ensemble and more. This year’s Living Legend honoree is Melba Ayco from Seattle, WA.

Tapology is a nonprofit program training youth to high achievement through dance. The dedicated choreographers and teachers work hard to bring the art form to every student. It is a 501c3 organization whose major supporters include the Ruth Mott Foundation, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Flint Institute of Music, Sylvester Broome Empowerment Village and others.

Join the crowd at Whiting this Sunday starting at 7pm, to support all of the dancers and participants.
