Rain or Shine, the third Annual Flying Pancake Fundraiser, brought to you by the Kiwanis Club of Lapeer and Chris Cakes, will go on as scheduled on Saturday, June 27 from 9am-12pm. The fundraiser will take place in Historic Lapeer, 410 W. Nepessing St., #106. To-go boxes will be available this year.
Chris Cakes is a Guinness Book World Record holder for the most pancakes flipped in an hour as well as the highest pancake tossed. They have been featured on the Food Network and make eating breakfast fun and exciting!!
Tickets can be purchased in advance online and also at the door. Children age five and under are FREE. Each ticket includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage links, coffee and orange juice.
All proceeds benefit Lapeer County children’s programs.
This event will be held in conjunction with the Farmer’s Market so plan to also spend time browsing and shopping downtown.
