For-Mar Nature Preserve: Full Moon Hike

Have you ever wanted to hike at For-Mar under the magical glow of the full moon? This is your chance to experience what the animals that live at For-Mar experience at night. Join a naturalist for a full-moon hike and see firsthand how beautiful and peaceful the park is after dark. Full moon hikes are offered once a month during the fool moon. Cost: $4 per person. Preregistration not required. 6-8pm.

University of Michigan-Flint Pavilion: Free Community Skating

Free community skating at UM-Flint Pavilion weather permitting Call (810) 762-3441 to confirm rink status and hours. Rink is cleared periodically for ice resurfacing. Skate rental available for $3 inside University Pavilion (limited sizes and quantities). Please bring your own skates, if you have a pair. Friday: 5-8pm. Saturday and Sunday: 12-4pm.

Make an appearance at the Fenton Winery & Brewery for the Michigan Search & Rescue Fundraiser from 1-3pm. Attendees will enjoy a tasty buffet featuring salad, pasta, cheese bread and FWB pizzas. Tickets to this cash only fundraiser are $20 for adults/$10 for kids. Michigan Search & Rescue is and all-volunteer missing persons response team that works directly with law enforcement.
