Sloan Museum is joining the worldwide community of museums to celebrate International Museum Day on Monday, May 18th, 2015.

And what better way to honor this important date than by offering FREE ADMISSION to the general public.

No ticket or secret password required! Simply bring your eagerness to learn, laugh and spend quality time with family and friends in Flint’s rapidly changing Flint Cultural Center campus. You’ll be amazed.

Also, we have some extremely exciting things happening this summer at Sloan and our completely overhauled Planetarium (soon to be revealed). Please be sure to ask about upcoming events while you’re here!

This year’s International Museum Day theme will be Museums for a Sustainable Society. It highlights the role of museums in raising public awareness about the need for a society that is less wasteful, more cooperative and that uses resources in a way that respects living systems.
