Explore the night sky at Longway Planetarium. Astronomy experts take you on a tour of the night sky over Michigan in this live planetarium lecture that begins today, March 5. Learn about the rotation of the Earth, how to find the North Star, and which constellations and planets are visible in your backyard tonight. The show takes place at 3pm, every afternoon.

Stargazers can come back to this show again and again to find out about recent astronomical events and for seasonal updates on what’s visible in the night sky over Michigan. Recommended for ages 8 and older. Tickets: $7 adults, $5 seniors 60-plus, and $5 youth ages 2-11. Genesee County Resident Discount: $3.50 adults, $2.50 seniors 60-plus, and $2.50 youth ages 2-11. All Longway Planetarium shows are free for members. Note: Please present your driver’s license or ID with your address on it to receive your discount. Tickets are available at the door, but please note that shows sometimes sell out. Genesee County residents and members may call 810-237-3400 to purchase tickets in advance.
